The following projects are being realized by the Company:

Purchase of "Grumant" type bulk carriers

Purchase and modernization of Suezmax tankers

Con­tracts for de­li­ve­ry of new mo­dern ships ha­ve been signed ac­cor­ding the prog­ram­me of re­ne­wal of bulk car­ri­ers, which was ac­cep­ted by Board of Di­rec­tors in 2004. The­se bulk car­ri­ers cor­res­pond to mo­dern se­cu­ri­ty and ef­fi­ci­ent ex­ploita­tion stan­dards. Their dead­weight is 23700 class RS KM (STAR) LU4 [i] A2 BULK CARRIER BC-A (ESP).Con­tracts for pur­cha­se and mo­der­ni­za­ti­on of SUEZMAX ty­pe tan­kers ha­ve been signed to di­ver­si­fy the acti­vi­ty and to in­crease eco­no­mic sta­bi­li­ty of the com­pa­ny. Mur­mansk Ship­ping Com­pa­ny has acquired single-hulled tankers SUEZMAX "Nataly" and "Nadezhda". To me­et the re­quire­ments of Inter­na­tional Con­ven­tion MARPOL 73/78 tan­ker "Nataly" was mo­der­ni­zed in 2006. She was equip­ped with double bot­tom and double sides in the car­go tank area. Car­go ca­pa­ci­ty has not been changed. The se­cond tan­ker of this class, "Nadezhda", was mo­der­ni­zed in Feb­rua­ry 2008.

Modernization of "Dmitriy Pozharskiy" type ships

Mur­mansk Ship­ping Com­pa­ny is car­rying out mo­derni­za­tion of "M. Stre­ka­lovskiy" ty­pe ships to incre­ase compe­ti­ti­ve­ness and im­pro­ve eco­no­mic and field-per­for­man­ce da­ta. The pur­po­se of mo­derni­za­tion is to incre­ase car­go ca­pa­ci­ty of bulk car­ri­ers.In 2003-07 Mur­mansk Ship­ping Com­pa­ny mo­dernized se­ven ships of "Dmit­riy Po­zhar­skiy" ty­pe.
